The quote was a commissioned, hand-drawn calligraphy piece I originally did in Prismacolor Pencil on Cream Paper, size 16x20 in. As a cancer survivor, this statement greatly resonates with me and reminds me to consciously decide to be happy—especially during the hard stuff. Of course, it’s much easier to be happy when life is easy, but we don’t know how much time each of us has in life—so we really can’t wait.
