Artist's Description
1995. METAMORPHOSIS combines elements from a master’s work with my own. This transformational piece shows the caterpillar crawling along a budding branch—the anticipation of rebirth. The branch turns into bone, and, along the ‘journey’, the caterpillar completes its cycle in the form of a butterfly in the ‘womb’ of where birth originates.

BIO: Darin Jones is a unique and diverse artist--ranging in styles from photo-realism to abstracts and mediums from graphite to acrylic--while creating and applying his art to canvas, textiles, furniture, home décor, messenger bags, mugs, and more. Jones's work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and festivals in New York, Nevada, and Utah, and collected privately throughout the United States and internationally.
