2005. GRACE was drawn from a color photograph I took while taking in the fragrant, sweet, spring scents of colorful flower beds in downtown Salt Lake City. The original rendering was donated to a lucky, bride-to-be, winning ticket holder at a bridal fair at which I was a vendor artist. Grace, with its long, slender stem, stands for gentleness and beauty.
BIO: Darin Jones is a unique and diverse artist--ranging in styles from photo-realism to abstracts and mediums from graphite to acrylic--while creating and applying his art to canvas, textiles, furniture, home décor, messenger bags, mugs, and more. Jones's work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and festivals in New York, Nevada, and Utah, and collected privately throughout the United States and internationally.
