“FUNK is a painting I did of a model wearing sleek, shiny boots, red shirt and denim jeans—which complimented the green backdrop. A cool, blue light was cast upon the white, vintage chair, from behind, while a warm, white light spotlighted the front—which only enhanced the ‘funk’ of the scene.” ~Darin Jones

BIO: Darin Jones is a unique and diverse artist--ranging in styles from photo-realism to abstracts and mediums from graphite to acrylic--while creating and applying his art to canvas, textiles, furniture, home décor, messenger bags, mugs, and more. ​ Jones's work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and festivals in New York, Nevada, and Utah, and collected privately throughout the United States and internationally. Mr. Jones has been featured on Utah’s Channel 4 News and published in various periodicals in Las Vegas and Utah. Darin Jones was born in Murray, Utah, 1972.
