Artist's Description
“AIRBORNE was painted on a wooden skateboard. My vision was to create a colorful design of wings in opposite directions, so that when the skateboarder was ‘airborne’ and turning 360s, it gave it a cool spinning effect—sort of like a propeller on an airplane. The golden wings make reference to a golden eagle and connect in the center over a sky-blue eye to symbolize vision and keeping your eye on the prize. The underlying colors compliment and add contrast to enhance the golden wings.” ~Darin Jones
